How Do You Tell If Someone Is Truly Saved?

by on September 11, 2013

I was interviewed by a Christian radio host. He asked me if I believed people are saved just by excepting Yeshua (Jesus) or do that have to do something else to receive salvation. This video is my answer.

This is what the bible says, Luke 24:47 repentance and remission of sins would be preached in Jerusalem. Acts 2:38 repentance and baptism for the remission of sins was preached in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost. Galatians 3:27 baptized into Christ, put one into Christ. Without baptism one is outside of Christ, all who are outside of Christ are lost. Belief alone does not save. The bible doesn’t say belief puts you in Christ, it says baptism does. You are baptized into the church. The church is not Catholic,Protestant,Denomination,Non-Denomination,Pentecostal or any other denominational group. Acts 2:47 the Lord added to the church, there were no denominations at this time. Acts 11:26 they were call christians first in Antioch, they were not call by denominational names. Romans 16:16 the apostle Paul identified them as the churches of Christ. The apostles doctrine teaches one church – one faith – one baptism and it is for the remission(forgiveness) of sins.

I believe that baptism is for remission of sins , and obviously you must repent . So many do not know that baptism is for this purpose and instead do not do it in the thought that it isn’t really necessary and I think that is grave mistake !
