Listen to this side. There all so many alleged Hebrew based ministries out in the world. It is not your ministry it is YHVH’s Ministry. There needs to be one Unity of Torah (like Nazarene Israel and the Way Minisry are doing). You at Torah Life and others who are obedient to Torah need to join with them, for the Unity (between Ephrayim and Yahhuda) that is to come to pass before we can go back to Yisrael. Unity is the key.

The world was in DARKNESS and GOD created light to pull the world out of darkness.
If you read the Genesis account of Creation you will see that LIGHT is the first thing GOD called GOOD.
    Genesis 1:3-4
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Later on GOD asked Israel and strangers that joined in worshiping the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to pay attention to the New Moons:

Psalm 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
    Ezekiel 46:1, 6
1 Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. … 6 And in the day of the new moon [it shall be] a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.

Why would God wants us to observe the Moon?

As we watch the moon go through its monthly cycle we can see the entire life of Yeshua and the gospel played out before us.
The moon’s conjunction reminds of the darkness we were in before Yeshua’s light entered the world.
The first crescent represents the dawning of Yeshua’s light from birth, the waxing moon to (HIS) fullness, the waning moon to his death, the conjunction back to darkness/in the grave 3 days, and then HIS rebirth to New Life the new crescent.

So every month is a reminder of the life of Yashua (Jesus) the Messiah, and how he brought light into a dark world.
Our lives are to reflect HIS Life so our light should shine and get brighter until our light reach it’s fullness.
There is nowhere in Scripture where GOD celebrates darkness he expects HIS children to walk in LIGHT and Stay in the LIGHT.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him:
1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

    1Thessolonians 5:5
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore celebrate the dawning of the first LIGHT of the NEW Crescent Moon!

Please consider this: I have done a lengthy study on this very topic, and I see common sense in the conclusion here folks, I am just telling the Emeth (truth) of the facts I have found. Many people are misled by the Orthodox-perspective of this fllacy.

These were people who did not follow Yahushua that made this the Moons observance, not YHWH of Hosts:

There are 4 major phases to the Moon: Waxing Crescent, Full Moon, Waning Crescent, and New Moon. A Crescent Moon CANNOT be Called a NEW MOON because it is no longer NEW; Rosh Chodesh: Chodesh in Strong’s Concordance means TO REBUILD, therefore the moon in its crescent-phase is no longer NEW, but REBUILDING!

Hence why would we have these 4 Major Phases called and named accordingly? Because a crescent is a rebuilding, not NEW MOON> Common Laymens Terms Here.
    Bshem Yahushua Mishikeinu!!
