Your Life For HIM
The Servant’s Way
(#044 from Suffer Well Devotional Series©)
www.sufferwell.org
If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything. If he comes alone, he is to go free alone; but if he has a wife when he comes, she is to go with him. If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free. But if the servant declares, “I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,” then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life. (Exodus 21:2-6)
He knew what freedom meant. It meant there was only one way in all things, and that was the way of the Father, His Master. There could be no variation; no shadow of turning if He was to complete the task at hand. Everything was perfect; everything was precise, word for word, precept upon precept.
By preferring His bride and children, He knew He would pay a hefty price. As He again contemplated the law of the Hebrew servant, there could be no doubt about what His orders were. A servant, after all, follows orders.
It was the acceptance of the task at hand, long before Gethsemane, when the sweat that flowed like blood began. It first started when the sacrifice was contemplated, when He declared, “I love My Master, My bride, our children. This is why I came. My form was in existence long before the creation of man; but now I have chosen to stay, to become a servant for life. I will no longer be like the wind, but ‘taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man’ (Philippians 2:7-8). Taking on the form of a man, this is when My piercing began.
When First I Was Pierced
One to be pierced as prescribed by the law,
His Master well pleased to infinity,
In an instant the cup of redemption fulfilled,
All it took… “Hand over Divinity.”
Yes, I am He who took on your form,
The true sacrifice that must be heeded.
I never before had these hands or these feet,
These limbs I’d simply not needed.
How can you kill who has always existed?
It’s the mystery of faith we concede.
The thought of the death of this One Divine,
You might-as-well ask wind to bleed.
Do not be mistaken with skewed human thinking,
That My hope was for this cup to be taken,
It was for joy set before Me I accepted your stake;
But with that all eternity shaken.
For the rest of My days just as you I will be,
The depth of this sacrifice of Mine,
Something new to embrace, even for Me,
Yet to you I will still be Divine.

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers; because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. (James 3:1)
[The Pastor grabs the pulpit, fire in his eyes, ready to deliver the WORD]
“…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) And so the word of God teaches that the only thing one needs to do in order to be saved…”
[His face reddens with heightened emotions]
“…is to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead…”
[His fists bang the pulpit]
“…AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!”
[His hand removes the sweat from his forehead with a cloth; he looks to the congregation.]
“I’m preaching better than you’re clapping people! Can I get an amen?”
[The congregation laughs and then erupts; amen and halleluiah reverberates throughout the building.]
After the service, Deacon Jones abruptly waves down Pastor Bill. “Yes Deacon Jones, what can I do for you?”
“Well, we might have a problem brewing in the church and I wanted to inform you of it,” says Deacon Jones.
“What is it son?” asked the Pastor.
“Well, several people have informed me that brother Richard is telling people that the bible teaches that Jesus did not come to change the law or the prophets and that, for instance, Christians are still commanded to abstain from eating pork. It’s causing some dissention.”
[The Pastor, unhappy about what he has heard, informs Deacon Jones he will handle it, and as he walks away, still within earshot of Deacon Jones, he mumbles to himself…]
“What must I do to save these legalists in my church?”
Deacon Jones thinks to himself, “I wonder if he really believes these things he preaches.”
Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they strongly affirm. (1 Timothy 1:5-7)

Gathering and Suffering in My Name
Gathering in My Name
(#040 from Suffer Well Devotional Series©)

Many years ago, a group sat before Me convinced I was there;
Gathered in My Name.
Someone convinced them that My being “there” meant I’d answer;
Gathered in My Name.
She said, “He’s leaving me,” and then adds, “I’m fine with that;”
Gathered in My Name.
“I can’t stand my job; my boss is so pushy;”
Gathered in My Name.
“God, can you hear us; there are more than two of us here;”
Gathered in My Name.
“We know you have greater things for us; please help us understand;”
Gathered in My Name.
“We’ve been coming together for months Lord; yet, Your hand has not moved;”
Gathered in My Name.
“Your Word cannot lie Lord; so why are You silent?”
Gathered in My Name.
After forty years of wandering in the wilderness of church pews….
The group sits before Me, with My Son and Spirit as witnesses;
Gathering in My Name.
“Father we praise You; and we worship and adore You;”
Gathering in My Name.
“We know we must change Yahweh, our hearts set like flints;”
Gathering in My Name.
“Your magnificent glory is all we can think of;”
Gathering in My Name.
“How foolish of us to think that gathering was for us.”
Gathering in My Name.
“We thank you Abba for the privilege of suffering;”
Gathering in My Name.
“By Your grace may we never forget why You made us.”
Gathering in My Name.
“And we thank you Father that as we praise You, You bless us;”
Gathering in My Name.
“Now seal it in us that we never forget this;”
Gathering in My Name.
It takes a humbling of the soul through the process of affliction for transformation to become evident. The suffering that brings about change is ultimately recognized as necessary to the one who endures. In the end, there is a piercing conviction of what it means to be gathered in His Name, the Name of Yahweh. All other man-made titles will fall away. In this Name and by this Name all else is sifted like wheat; only chaff remains. There is only light or darkness, loved one. There is only truth or compromise.
“Princes of nations are gathered together, the people of the Mighty One of Abraham, for unto the Almighty belongs the shields of the earth! He is greatly exalted!” (Psalm 47:9)

A Little Leaven Suffer Well
A Little Leaven
(#021 from Suffer Well Devotional Series©)

Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed the Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. (1. Corinthians 5:6-7)
A Little Leaven…
Mom and dad fight and use angry words
The Lump
The children hear the fight and fear enters their hearts.
The fear turns to anger and then bitterness.
The children act out with rude behaviors toward friends.
Friends feel unloved and insecurity enters their hearts.
Friends tell their parents how they were treated badly.
They don’t want to play together anymore.
Even the friend’s parents build unhealthy mindsets towards the children.
Offenses destroy friendships!
The Lump
Mom shows impatience with store clerk due to anger at dad.
Store clerk gets upset, as she is tired of being treated badly by customers.
Store clerk yells at mom in frustration.
Boss hears of the account and fires store clerk on the spot.
Store clerk was a single mom who can no longer support her family.
She develops unhealthy fear, self-condemnation, and regret.
Fear destroys future opportunity!
The Lump
Dad neglects to show up at a vital business meeting due to frustration with mom.
Dad’s business partner takes over the meeting in a pinch.
The business partner is not prepared for meeting and loses a big account.
The partner becomes angry and bitter because the dad missed the key meeting.
The dad becomes angry and bitter because the partner is ill-prepared.
They have a huge blowout.
The future of the company and income for partners and all employees are in jeopardy.
Bitterness destroys lives and futures!
…leavens the whole lump!
It only takes a little leaven to leaven the whole lump (Galatians 5:9). That is a very dangerous thing if you use the leaven of the Pharisees: bad doctrine (Matthew 16:11), and hypocrisy (Luke 12:1). Therefore, purge out that old leaven. Instead of the leaven of the Pharisees, sprinkle the “leaven of the Kingdom” on your lump (Matthew 13:33). The Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Kingdom leaven will restore and preserve friendships; it will eliminate all doubt and fear; and it will neutralize bitterness with the sweet Fruit of the Spirit. Purge out that old leaven and hope is restored!
WARNING Beware of Tovia Singer Outreach Judaism
Rabbi Tovia Singer has a ministry called Outreach Judaism and tries to teach people Yeshua (Jesus) is not the Messiah. This video is a public call to repent to Tovia Singer and a warning.
If it was a virgin birth how is Yeshua in the line of David?
A Jewish lady asked me, how could Yeshua be the messiah if he is of a virgin brith and not of the seed of Joseph or from the line of David. Check out the answer..
