Temple of Baal Arch To Be Recreated in New York City

Replicas of the arch from Syria’s Temple of Baal will be erected in London and New York City for World Heritage Week in April 2016. This is being built as a tribute to the 2,000-year old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra.
